Partnering with others to reach people with the love of Christ is very important to us. Here are a few ways we try to do that.

Mission Trips and Service Opportunities


Operation Christmas Child


We will once again be participating in Operation Christmas Child by putting together Shoe Boxes full of gifts, The new collection point for Lamar is the First Baptist Church at 1600 S. Main St. (336-4953).



The Fairs with Haiti Christian Mission will be with us on July 10th to update us on their work in Haiti. They will be present during all three of our morning services.



We have sent teams and individuals on short term mission trips to various places including: Juarez, Mexico to build houses with Casas por Cristo, to Romania, Africa, the Navajo Nation in New Mexico.
